A digital crisis in Haiti's schools — and a real opportunity to fix it
In a world that runs on technology, computer access is no longer a luxury — it is a necessity. Most Haitian schools do not have a functional computer lab, leaving millions of young people unprepared for higher education and the modern job market. Dofitek's school lab project is built to change that, while creating a profitable, scalable business.

A computer lab is a strategic tool for a school
Many Haitian schools want to integrate computing, productivity tools, the Internet, digital skills and AI into their teaching, but they lack equipment, technical support and affordable solutions. A computer lab turns a school into a modern learning space, gives students new skills and strengthens the credibility of the institution.
With this project, Dofitek is not just selling computers. We deliver a complete solution: equipment, installation, configuration, training, maintenance and ongoing technical follow-up — everything a school needs to actually use the lab over the long term.

- Better preparation for higher education and the job market.
- Easier access to research, information and educational resources.
- Stronger understanding of school subjects through interactive tools.

A scalable, recurring-revenue project
With less than 5% of schools having a functional lab in a country of 4.5M+ school-age children, the demand for turnkey labs is structurally high and only growing.
Each lab generates initial equipment revenue, then continuous maintenance, training, accessory sales and software/app revenue — not a one-time sale.
A strong school-lab portfolio strengthens Dofitek's position with NGOs, international organizations and government bodies for larger national-scale technology projects.
Building inventory and operational capacity allows Dofitek to deliver faster, negotiate better purchasing prices and run several projects in parallel.
